There are a variety of puzzles and conundrums featured in the book, ranging from cross words and word searches to match the murderer to the novel. There are also beautiful colour pictures of some well-known Crime Classics books, only with some differences the reader has to spot. Even the cover is pretty and in fitting with the series. It feels more like a book than a puzzle book as it is a hardback edition. I resorted to using a pencil due to my aversion to writing in books!

It’s the perfect balance for crime reading buffs and puzzle enthusiasts. It has puzzles relating to Agatha Christie and authors published under the British Library Crime Classics series. And at only 144 pages it doesn’t take up too much room.

I’ve not completed all of the puzzles yet but there some that can be done quickly whilst others require a bit more use of the little grey cells, so it’s great to dip in and out of.

Perfect as a stocking filler, secret Santa or to slip into a bag for a commute to work.
